Kate was 9 pounds 2 ounces on her 1 month birthday ~ going from 6 pounds 15 ounces at birth...we were quite shocked to see that she had gained that much, because our little Kate spits up after EVERY single feeding and she spits up what I like to think as EVERYTHING she just ate. So it turned out that she does keep some of it down and is growing FAST...yay!
Kate had jaundice at birth and had to stay in the hospital an extra day to be monitored, but luckly it wasn't severe and we were able to take her home and supplement her feedings with some formula and put her in the direct/indirect sunlight. Now we can officially say that she is jaundice FREE...yay!
Kate is now 1 month and a couple of weeks and is starting to sleep through the night. She never gives me less than 6 hours straight at night, but mostly now she is able to sleep 8 full hours before she wakes me up...yay!
I can TALK, TALK, TALK about our new adorable addition to the J Trainor Family, but motherhood is calling :)
